R. Albert Mohler, Jr., is the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to his presidential duties, he is a professor of Christian theology and hosts three programs: The Briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview; Thinking in Public, a series of conversations with the day’s leading thinkers; and the newly established In the Library. Dr. Mohler is also editor of WORLD Opinions, where he provides regular cultural and theological commentary. A former president of the Evangelical Theological Society, Dr. Mohler has authored numerous books including Recapturing the Glory of Christmas; The Gathering Storm: Secularism, Culture, and the Church; The Apostles’ Creed: Discovering Authentic Christianity in an Age of Counterfeit; The Prayer that Turns the World Upside Down; and a two-volume commentary on the book of Acts. He also served as the general editor of the Grace and Truth Study Bible. Dr. Mohler and his wife, Mary, have two children and four grandchildren.
