Joe Stowell
Joe Stowell is an author, an international conference speaker, and a pastor. He retired after having served as president of Moody Bible Institute and more recently Cornerstone University. He currently serves as Global Ambassador and Special Assistant to the President of Moody Bible Institute while also serving on the boards of CURE International, ELIC, and International Aid. Stowell has written numerous devotionals for Our Daily Bread and has authored books such as Strength for the Journey, a devotional guide; The Trouble with Jesus; Simply Jesus and You; This Light of Mine; and Redefining Leadership: Character-Driven Habits of Effective Leaders. He and his wife, Martie, have three children, ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
